The house has a front (south oriented) and rear (east oriented) garden. The whole garden is fenced and offers a safe location for families with small childrens. It is equipped with some long chairs offering a perfect time for sun bathing, reading a book,… The rear garden offers a magnificent view on the Atlantic Ocean.
It has a separated kitchen, fully equipped: traditional coffee filter machine, nespresso machine, micro wave, dish washer, laundry washer and fridge & freezer.
It is made of two bedrooms with each queen size beds and individual wardrobes. It has an additional mezzanine with two single beds.
The living room gives direct access to the front terrace, has relaxing sofas, dining table and a cosy open fireplace.
The house has a gated entrance where cars can be parked and some parking spots are available next to the house in case you have friends or family coming over.
Attached to the rear side of the house, you will find a veranda where you can enjoy lazy moments.
The house is equipped with high speed fiber internet.
The living room and bedrooms are equipped with airco.
Full description of the house’s amenities
The surroundings
The house is a harbor of silence and in connection with nature. It is located on a side road from the main road. The side road is only used for the house and two neighbors. In the middle of the fields and with view on the sea in the horizon, it offers a natural endless garden of prairies, woods, beaches and maritime environment.
Located at the Atlantic ocean, natural humidity provides the environment year long green fields and forests around the house. Compared to other regions in Portugal, the local climate avoids too hot temperatures in the summer periods and offers fresh nights.
The Praia do Salgado is the beach area closeby the house. You can access it through a gravel path from the house running down the little hill and crossing the dunes. If you are bit more lazy, you can access the beach by car in 2 min. The praia is equipped with a parking spot, has the Blue Beach Label of the European Union and is supervised by lifeguards.
Next to the beach, a small familiar restaurant & bar will give you the opportunity to enjoy something to eat at noon or during the evening. Of course, enjoying a coffee or an ice cream will be possible along the day. Although surrounded by nature, it doesn’t mean everything is far away. A small bakery and a pittoresque restaurant are close by at less than 4 min’ walk. Pharmacy is available within 5 min’ drive down the village and supermarkets & petrol stations are available in Sao Martinho do Porto or Nazaré (both less than 10 min by car)
